Tynwald Day

The 5th of July is traditionally the Manx midsummer day and the annual gathering at Tynwald Hill. When the 5th falls on a weekend, the celebrations are held on the Monday which this year is the 6th of July.
The day is a mixture of processions, displays, fun and games, all centred around the midsummer open air sitting of the High Court of Tynwald. This gathering dates back to the Viking settlements which began in the first millennium AD.
Come an enjoy the spectacle that is Tynwald Day - Monday 6th July at St John's.
