Family extends open invitation to Dobsy send-off

Paul Dobbs at Bray Hill

The family of Paul Dobbs has confirmed his funeral will be held on Monday next week.

The 39 year old was killed in a crash at Ballagarey during the second Supersport race during TT a week ago.

His funeral will be held at the Grandstand at 2.00PM, with a final lap around the TT course starting at 2.30.

Dobsy, as he was known to his friends, will be buried at Lonan church.

Anyone wishing to join in the lap or attend the internment is welcome. There'll also be refreshments at the Grandstand afterwards.

His family say dressing in team shirts and mashal jackets will be very welcome.

Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the TT Riders' Association, the Rob Vine Fund or the ACU Benevolent Fund.
