The boss of an Isle of Man space tourism firm has been given a prestigious award by the Space Frontier Foundation.

Art Dula, the CEO of Excalibur Almaz Limited, is to pick up the Pioneer of New Space Award.

The prize is given to those who strived to create the new commercial space industry.

He'll be presented with the award at the Foundation's Gala Dinner in Silicon Valley.

Mr Dula was responsible for bringing a spacecraft to the Island last year, which was on display at King William's College.
