Police are investigating after a car was hit in the south of the Island.

The silver Renault Espace was allegedly struck by a red car, which left a large scratch down the side.

The incident happened on the main road in Ballabeg on July 14th, just after the roads re-opened following the Southern 100.

A witness stopped the Renault driver to inform them of the collision but didn't leave his details with police.

Officers from Castletown Police Station are keen to speak to this man to help trace the driver responsible.
