Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw has told Energy FM News that the proposed amendments to the Isle of Man Anti Terrorism Bill are to focus mainly around loop holes in the Financial system.

The planned amendments are to prevent the Island being used as a haven for funds used to finance terrorist activity.

The government's public consultation on the changes is underway.

Anyone wishing to comment should write by September 20 to Tom Bateman, Legislation Manager, Department of Home Affairs, Homefield, 88 Woodbourne Road, Douglas, Isle of Man IM2 3AP, or via email to: dhaconsultation@gov.im with Anti-Terrorism and Crime (Amendment) Bill in the subject box of the email.
