The Home Affairs Minister says new terrorism laws will help the Island's global image as a transparent finance centre.

It's hoped an amendment to the Anti-Terrorism and Crime Bill will prevent terrorists using the Island for financial purposes.

The changes are currently out to consultation. Feedback can be sent the the Department of Home Affairs.

Whilst the Isle of Man is on the OECD white list, other juristictions have been critical of the Manx finance system, labelling the nation a "tax haven"
