The jury is expected to retire today in the trial of a man accused of murder.

The five men and seven women have heard eleven days of evidence, finishing with the closing statements from the prosecution and defense yesterday.

Simon Paul Leece from Fairfield Terrace faces counts of murder, manslaughter and arson.

He denies starting four fires in the area around his home in March last year, including one on Demesne Road resulting in the death of sixty-one year old Terry Losh.

Deemster Birkett will sum up the case to the jurors before sending them out to consider their verdict.
