A teenager must complete 150 hours of community service for assaulting a police officer.

18 year old Loryn Walker from Ramsey bit PC Kevin Quirk's hand, breaking the skin and causing it too swell.

Officers were called to her home in June following reports of a domestic incident between Walker and her partner.

Despite several warning from the police she refused to calm down and was arrested.

Her advocate said she has since written letters of apology to the officers involved.

She has also been ordered to pay £250 compensation.
