Public asked to comment on bendy bus laws

Tue, 21 Sep 2010

New laws could be brought in to allow bendy buses to be operated on the Island.

The Department of Infrastructure is asking the public to comment on the proposed changes to the Island's HGV regulations.

The new legislation would mean articulated buses could be operated on Island, or brought over by a tour operator.

A bendy bus was trialled on the Island at the end of last year.

Comments on the plans should be made by November 5th.

Full details of the proposed changes can be found on the Government's website or can be obtained by request from the Sea Terminal.
