The Isle of Man's Commonwealth Games medal hopes have taken a massive blow, as Team Sky has pulled all of its professional cyclists out of the games.

They include Manx rider Peter Kennaugh, who had been tipped to pick up a medal on the track, as well as supporting Mark Cavendish in the road race.

The decision was taken by the team last night.

21 year old Kennaugh won the British Track Championship Scratch Race in Manchester yesterday evening.

His 18 year old brother Tim remains in the squad.
