Murderer must serve at least 21 years

The man convicted of the Demesne Road murder has been sentenced to life in Prison.

Simon Paul Leece has been told he'll serve a minimum of 21 years behind bars for the murder of 61 year old Terry Losh in March 2009.

In summing up, Deemster Birkett told Leece his actions were measured, deliberate and premediatated and targetted towards addresses with a number of occupants.

Since his conviction Leece has gone through psychological examinations which have proven he was aware of his actions and consequences.

Leece was also convicted and sentenced on 2 arson charges that will run concurrently
