Public to discuss contraversial Bill

The Manx public is being invited to discuss the contraversial Criminal Justice Bill.

The Positive Action Group is holding a meeting next week to look at the Bill.

Following a motion in the House of Keys this week, a Committee has been set up to examine the Bill further before it can be brought in.

PAG believes some of the proposals in the Bill could threaten freedom by broadening police powers.

The meeting takes place in the Legion Club in Douglas from seven thirty on Monday evening.
