Former tycoon to stand trial

The trial of a former Isle of Man tycoon accused of stealing
over £900,000 gets underway this morning.

70 year old Trevor Baines and his wife Wendy are accused
of taking £925,000, and obtaining £45,000 by deception.

Their advocate, Jenny Holt will also stand trial, charged with
doing acts against public justice, falsifying or concealing
documents and entering into an agreement.

All three are pleading not guilty.

It's expected the trial will last for around three weeks
