Reward offered for arrest of sports ground vandals

Tue, 11 Jan 2011

A reward is now being offered for information after three sports grounds in the south of the Island were targeted by vandals.

Football nets at King William's College along with Colby and Rushen Football Clubs were slashed sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning.

The nets at King William's College were replaced so matches could go ahead on Saturday, but on Sunday evening the new nets were destroyed.

An anoymous person is now offering a reward of £500 for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the cuprits.

Anyone who can help is asked to call Port Erin Police on 832222.
