2010 saw the lowest number of passengers at the Island's airport in over a decade.

The latest figures show passenger figures dropped by almost 14% during December.

Snow resulted in the Airport opening late and closing early several times throughout the month.

The weather, combined with the ash cloud earlier in the year, resulted in a drop in over 38,000 people travelling by air in 2010, over 8000 of which came in December.
