MHK seeks clarification over Manx2 status

Questions are to be raised over the status of Manx 2 in the House of Keys next week.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran will ask Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne whether the operator is an airline or just a ticket provider.

He'll also ask how much of the company is Manx, and which areas are governed by Isle of Man authorities.

Mr Karran will also raise questions over Manx 2's status in relation to the fatal crash at Cork airport in February, where 6 people died.

This week the initial report into the crash was published, stating there were no major mechanical defects with the aircraft.

The House of Keys sits on Tuesday next week.
