The Infrastructure Minister has been clarifying the status of flight operator Manx2.

Phil Gawne told the House of Keys that Manx2 is a ticket agent not an airline.

He went on to explain that a number of aviation authorities regularly carry out checks on aircraft operated by Manx2.

Mr Gawne said that Manx2 was the ticket agent for the fatal crash at Cork Airport last month.

However, he couldn't say whether the Island's reputation will be damaged because of the crash [play clip]
