Police hope for safe TT on the Island's roads

As TT fortnight approaches, the Deputy Chief Constable is hoping it's a quiet time for the Island's Roads Policing Unit.

The police and the Department of Infrastructure have been promoting road safety during the TT period, urging bikers to meet their mates, not their maker.

Last year saw one visiting biker involved in a fatal collision on the Mountain Road.
