Walkers gear up for the Parish

Over 1,700 people plan to take on the Parish Walk this weekend.

The 85 mile challenge covers all 17 parishes and walkers aiming to complete the event have only 24 hours to do it in.

It starts at 8am on Saturday morning.

Competitors need to go and pick up their entry packs ahead of the walk.

They can be collected from the Manx Harriers Club House at the NSC between 5.30pm and 8.30pm on Thursday or Friday.
