Job losses feared at Credit Suisse

There could be job losses at the Douglas branch of Credit Suisse.

At a meeting yesterday, staff were told that the financial services company is making changes to the Isle of Man arm of its business.

Redundancies are now expected but it's not clear yet how many jobs will go.

In a brief statement, the company says it continues to monitor the size of the business in relation to client opportunities and market conditions.

It says this involves realigning resources to growth areas.
