Queens Road resurfacing begins next week

Fri, 22 Jul 2011

Works to a road in the south of the Island get underway next week.

Queens Road in Port St Mary is to be resurfaced and footways reconstructed from Monday.

There'll be a one way system in place between Fistard Road and Athol Street as well as a 20 miles per hour temporary speed limit.

The highway at Queens Place is to be reconstructed as well, meaning it will be closed between Queens Road and Athol Street.

The closures and restrictions will remain in place until the work is completed.
