Police take zero tolerance policy to drugs at Mannifest

Fri, 05 Aug 2011

Police will be using sniffer dogs to detect drugs at Mannifest.

The festival gets underway tonight at Glen Lough Farm in Glen Vine.

Officers are warning drug use won't be tolerated.

Inspector Will Campbell says you will be arrested if you're caught with drugs at the event [play clip]

Motorists are asked to take care in the area and stick to the 30mph speed limits that are in force.

There's also a clearway on the main road, preventing motorists from parking or waiting.
