GCSE students perform well

Island students performed well in GCSEs according to provisional figures out from the Government.

In most respects, they were only bettered by the record results from last year.

The overall pass rate is in line with 2010 and the number of people getting higher grades from A* to C is the second highest ever.

Chief Executive of the Department of Education Stuart Dobson says there've been some remarkable personal achievements too.[Play media file below]
