Investigation launched following serious crash in Onchan

Police are investigating following a serious car crash in Onchan.

A red Ford Focus was involved in a collision between the Liverpool Arms and Whitebridge Hill at around 9.30 yesterday evening.

The road was closed for around three and a half hours whilst police carried out investigations at the scene.

The car was being driven by a 19 year old man, with a 21 year old passenger.

No details of any injuries to the pair have been released.

Officers are keen to speak to the driver of a car believed to have been travelling in front of the Focus at the time of the crash.
