A course for those looking to become a Community First Responder is being held next month.

St John Ambulance and the Isle of Man Ambulance Service are looking for more recruits.

First responders provide first aid to patients whilst awaiting an ambulance.

The training is to take place over the last weekend of November and the first weekend in December.

There are currently around forty Community First Responders on the Island.

More information can be obtained by calling St John Ambulance on 674387 or by visiting the charity's website.
