MHKs to look at Europe's affect on Isle of Man

Tue, 22 Nov 2011

The Eurozone, Flybe and purchasing alcohol are amongst the topics up for discussion in the House of Keys this morning.

Middle MHK Howard Quayle will ask the Treasury Minister whether the Island has money at risk in the Eurozone, whilst Douglas South member Kate Beecroft will ask which Manx industries could be affected by the lack of stability in Europe.

John Houghton will ask Infrastructure Minister David Cretney whether Flybe plans to tighten up rules on hand baggage.

Meanwhile, Ramsey MHK Leonard Singer will ask for a Committee be set up to look into the Electoral Reform Bill.

The House of Keys sits from 10.00 this morning.
