Warning of more sailing disruption

It's expected there could be some disruption to sailings later today.

This morning's Ben-my-Chree crossing to Heysham is going ahead as scheduled, despite an earlier warning from the Steam Packet Company that it may have to be cancelled.

The ferry operator is now warning that there could be problems for the 7.45pm journey, and the return sailing at 2.15 tomorrow morning.

There are gale warnings in place for the next several days.

The Steam Packet is due to issue an update at 5.00 this evening.
