Revised repair scheduled for Ben-my-Chree

The Steam Packet has revised the dry dock schedule for the Ben-my-Chree.

The repairs to it's broken bow thruster will now be carried out between 16th and 19th December.

The Ben will operate the 02.15 Heysham to Douglas crossing in the early hours of the 16th and will then sail to Cammell Laird Shipyard.

The Manannan is due to take over passenger services from next Friday through to the following Monday.

It will also take care of some urgent freight requirements.

The company is hoping to charter a freighter, although this won't be confirmed until after this weekend.
