Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a car hit a woman near the Bowl in Douglas.

A blue Renault Clio hit 37 year old Christina Collister, who has since died.

The collision took place at around 6.20pm on November 8th.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a red car seen stopped near the scene of the crash, and a man described as being a Groundsman, who is believed to have seen the Clio just prior to the collision.

The Roads Policing Team is thanking everyone who has come forward so far, and is urging anyone else who may have witnessed the incident, or the Clio being driven in the run up to the collision to get in touch.

Anyone who can help with this enquiry is asked to contact Police Headquarters
