Weather conditions cause disruption across the Island

The weather conditions are causing disruption across the Island this lunchtime.

King Edward Road is closed between Summerhill and Port Jack due to the high tides and large waves.

Motorists are being urged to be cautious along Castletown Promenade and Fishers Hill in the south of the Island.

Manx2 has had to cancel its Blackpool flights this morning as a result of the conditions.

The Steam Packet kept the Ben-my-Chree is Douglas this morning, and is due to make an announcement regarding the 7.45pm crossing by 5.00pm.

The Northern and Western Civic Amenity Sites has also closed.

Storm force 10 winds reaching up to 75 miles per hour are forecast.
