Ben back in service tomorrow

The Ben-my-Chree will be back in service from tomorrow morning.

The ferry has been in dry-dock in Birkenhead for repairs since Friday evening.

She will leave there this afternoon and sail to Heysham, where she'll operate a freight-only crossing to the Isle of Man at 2.15am.

Normal passenger services will resume with the Douglas to Heysham sailing at 8.45 tomorrow morning.

The dry-docking was delayed for 12 hours last week to allow cargo to be shipped ahead of the weekend.

The company managed to clear over 250 freight units before the Ben went out of service.
