Thu, 22 Dec 2011

The Chief Executive of Age Concern Isle of Man says there are still pockets of hardship on the Island and he's praising everyone who donated goods to the Christmas hamper appeal.

The charity has been busy delivering parcels of food and gifts to elderly people in the community this week.

Local companies, schools and other groups have collected enough goods to fill over 100 hampers.

George Quayle says people's kindness can make a real difference.[play media file below]
