Gate and signs damaged on Government land

Police are investigating after a gate and signs on land owned by the Government was damaged in Onchan.

The wooden gate and signage at the entrance to Ennemona Road at Conrhenny has been damaged between last Sunday and Thursday this week.

The road is a green lane running between Begoade Road and the Creg ny Baa Back Road.

Although remote, the area is frequently used by off road vehicles and walkers.

The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture owns the land, and says the damaged items will need replacing.
