Road racer Ian Hutchinson says he should be fit for this year's TT.

The 8 time winner expects to miss the first 2 rounds of the British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch and Thruxton during April, but says that should be it.

The Bingley rider broke his leg earlier this week whilst rehearsing for a stunt show.

On his official Twitter account, Hutchy is thanking his fans for their support and says this injury is nothing compared to his last injury, which kept him out of the sport for over a year, and has needed 19 operations to repair.

That injury meant he missed TT last year, having become the first rider to win all 5 solo races in a week in 2010.

He says he'll be keeping on top of his fitness and hopes he'll be able to repay his team, Swan Yamaha.
