Job market patchy but could be worse says Minister

Wed, 02 May 2012

The Island will need to work hard and not be complacement if it wants to maintain current levels of employment.

That's according to Treasury Minister Eddie Teare.

In March there were 140 more people out work than there were at the same time last year.

However, the figure was an improvement on the previous month.

Mr Teare says the job market is patchy at the moment, but it could be worse.[play media file below]
