Family pays tribute to 91 year old crash victim

Tribute is being paid to an elderly woman who died folling a crash at the weekend.

91 year old Freda Starkey was the passenger in a blue Honda Jazz which was involved in an accident at Bishopscourt on Sunday afternoon.

Her family say she was a well known member of the community in Ballaugh where she had lived for over 30 years.

They say she was a much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.

They want to speak to the driver of a silver Volkswagen who may have been driving behind the Honda Jazz just before the crash.
