Police to rethink TT road safety campaign

Mon, 11 Jun 2012

Police say they’ll be looking again at the whole TT road safety message to work out what can be done differently next year.

Five people died in crashes on the Island’s roads during the first half of this year’s festival.

The ‘Stay Alert, Stay Alive’ message was used again for the joint road safety campaign from the Department of Infrastructure and the police.

Inspector Derek Flint says they’ll be looking at other ideas and seeing where lessons can be learnt.[play media file below]
