Japanese companies attending Island energy conference

Thu, 09 Aug 2012

The government is today hosting a conference to stimulate discussion on increasing energy self sufficiency on the Island.

The Department of Economic Development is bringing together UbrainTV and the Japanese organisation REVO International.

REVO is exploring the possibility of building a research and development centre on the Island with the assistance of Ubrain – a web TV and networking service which aims to connect people in the fields of energy and environment.

Government says the conference should trigger meaningful discussions and bring tangible benefits for the local community and the possibility of the creation of new jobs.
