Japanese firm looks to build test plant on Island

A Japanese firm which specialises in renewable energy is looking to set up a research and development centre on the Isle of Man.

Last week the Department of Economic Development hosted a conference to stimulate discussion on increasing energy self sufficiency on the Island.

REVO International has developed a bio-diesel from used cooking oil and is considering developing a manufacturing test plant.

Representatives from the company were joined by UBrain TV – a networking service which aims to connect people in energy and environment at the conference.

Kenji Nagoshi from UBrain TV says the Isle of Man is an attractive prospect for clean tech companies:
