Expert urges young kayakers not to underestimate the sea

Fri, 31 Aug 2012

After a recent spate of incidents involving kayaks a call has gone out for safe and responsible use of the easy to use mini vessels.

On three occasions in a relatively short space of time coastguard and lifeboat teams have been called out to the aid of young people who have got into difficulty after being pulled out to sea.
