1,700 cyclists on the roads tomorrow for End to End race

1,700 cyclists will tomorrow be embarking on the end to end mountain bike race.

The event which has seen a boom in popularity reached its full capacity within a week of registration.

The racers will be going from one end of the Island to the other for the 46 mile challenge.

This year will see a few minor alterations to the course on previous years with the Ballacobb climbs taken out, and replaced with two new ones.

Steve Honeybone is one of the organisers of the race, he told us more about its increasing popularity across the water:
