DCCL slams timing of second bus strike

The union representing bus drivers is looking to cause maximum disruption to the public whilst ensuring minimum damage to wages.

That’s the claim from Community, Culture and Leisure chief executive Nick Black.

He’s slammed Unite for choosing to strike for half a day next Thursday saying he’s disappointed that the union feels additional strikes are justified.

This strike has the potential to impact many GCSE and A Level students who are sitting exams on the day.

Mr Black says it’s not fair:
