Robin Gibb stamps to be launched at singer's childhood home

The Island will pay tribute to Bee Gee star Robin Gibb tomorrow with the launch of a new set of stamps.

His wife Dwina and son Robin-John will visit the Island for the official unveiling which will be held at the singer’s childhood home of 50 St Catherine’s Drive in Douglas.

A blue plaque will also be installed above the front door by Douglas Council.

Fans have been invited to join in the celebrations at the house which will start at 10.30am.

General manager of Isle of Man Stamps and Coins Dot Tilbury says it’s all about celebrating the Manxman’s achievements:
