The fourth TT practice session finally went ahead as planned last night after a break in the weather.

Conditions around the Mountain Course were ideal with dry roads, good visibility and sunny intervals leading to Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness breaking the 129 mile per hour speed barrier.

However the sidecar session was brought to a premature end after a red flagged incident at Graham’s Memorial.

Duo David Saunders and Anne Garnish were involved but were said to be talking to medics at the scene before being transferred to Noble’s Hospital for further assessment.

Tonight’s practice will start at 6.20pm with the sidecars out first, followed by the supersport, lightweight and newcomers at 7.15pm, the superbike, superstock, supersport and newcomers at 7.55pm and the TT Zero at 8.30pm.
