Bus dispute situation remains the same, says DCCL Chief Executive

The Department of Community Culture and Leisure say they are standing firm by their position and will not be increasing the deal offered to the bus drivers.

The largest strike of the year long dispute came over TT fortnight, with a number of volunteers drafted in to help ease the burden during the 12 day walkout.

On the whole the service went without a glitch despite a shaky start and the DCCL say they have a strong contingency plan in place now for likely further strikes.
