Respect, HIV and equality up for discussion in HOK

Tue, 11 Jun 2013

HIV statistics, an equality bill for the Island and respect in schools are just some of the issues being raised in the House of Keys today.

There are 19 questions for oral answer and 12 for written.

Among them Rushen MHK Laurence Skelly will quiz the Education and Children Minister to make a statement on a policy and strategy for teaching discipline and respect in schools.

Peter Karran will ask the Infrastructure Minister about transferring responsibility for registered buildings and conservation areas to David Cretney's department rather than Manx National Heritage.

And South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft has a raft of questions for Health Minister David Anderson about the protection of whistleblowers, clinical standards at Noble’s and HIV statistics.
