Police publish inclusion report

A new inclusion report, produced by the Isle of Man Constabulary, is not a matter of political correctness.

That’s according to the chief constable who says the document shows how the police are protecting vulnerable people.

It’s aimed at identifying how to deliver a quality service to all sectors of the community who may feel vulnerable because of their age, disability, race, faith, nationality or sexual orientation.

A scrutiny group was formed three years ago to monitor the constabulary’s progress and hold it to account.

The report, which shows the progress being made, is available to read online or from police stations.

Gary Roberts says there is a need for it on the Island:
