Results for round 8 of the Ulster Counties Small-Bore 50 metre Summer Leagues are now to hand and with just 2 more rounds to go, IoMSC members continue to have significant successes resulting in excellent positions with just 2 rounds remaining. In Division 1, Bill Jones sits in sixth position and Division 2 has Ashley Gardner in fifth with Tom Lord down a little further in seventh. Richard Arthur has sixth sewn up in Division 3 but in Division 6, Mike Clague holds pole position with a 4 point aggregate lead. The tussle since round one between Steve Callus and Tony Kneale in Division 8 continues with Callus leading Kneale by 3 aggregate points BUT just 2 aggregate score point separate them – Dave Bould holds onto fifth in the same league. Another Division leader this time by 6 aggregate points is Liz Jones in Division 9. Even better results are posted in the team events where IoMSC A, the team of Bill Jones, Tom Lord and Ashley Gardner in Division A, are in equal first point’s position but actually in second slot on aggregate score. In Division C the IoMSC B team of Richard Arthur, Mike Clague and Steve Callus having shot 8 and won 8 are in a clear first slot by 2 points and a similar situation exists in Division D where the team of Tony Kneale, Dave Bould and Liz Jones who have also shot 8 and won 8 hold onto first position by 4 clear points.
