MHK wants roadwork plan

A proper plan is needed to work out how the £150 million pot for refurbishing the Island's roads should be spent.

That's the view of Douglas West MHK Chris Thomas - he says he is yet to see a long-term forecast that outlines the individual spend on problem areas.

The money is due to be spent on fixing potholes and making pavements safe in an effort to make journeys more comfortable for both car drivers and pedestrians.

Mr Thomas wants to know how Douglas will benefit and says there are more questions that should be raised on the subject:
