Flybe on HOK agenda

Tue, 26 Nov 2013

More concerns over the future of Flybe will be raised in the House of Keys today.

A number of politicians have tabled questions in light of the news that the airline is closing its base at Ronaldsway.

West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas will ask the Treasury Minister and the Infrastructure Minister how government can work with the airlines going forward.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran will also ask David Cretney what action his department has taken to deal with the effects of Flybe pulling out of the Island in March.

Douglas North MHK Bill Henderson will also ask the Minister how business and tourism will be affected.
